Pastor (Dr.) Femi Omowumi

General Secretary

Pastor Solomon Oluwafemi Omowumi is the General Secretary of The Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT). He studied Nursing, Political Science, Journalism and Theology. He worked with The Guardian newspaper in Lagos as Foreign Affairs Reporter and rose to the position of Foreign Affairs Editor before moving on to work at the U.S. Embassy in Lagos as Information Specialist.

He became bi-vocational while working at the Embassy as he served as a Pastor of the GOFAMINT at the same time. He remained bi-vocational as District Pastor until he resigned to take up the ministry full time when he was appointed General Secretary in 2014. He is married to Deaconess Oluwakemisola Omowumi and they are blessed with three children.
