The Chosen Generation (CG) Ministry is the Youth and Young Adult Ministry of the Gospel Faith Mission International, North America “GOFAMINT NA”.
Members of the CG Ministry are youth and young adults who fall within our focus group ages.
We comprise of the following focus groups:
Youth
Middle and high school teens aged 12 to 17 years.
Young Adults
College Students: College-age students aged 18 to 23 years.
Young Professionals: Working-age young adults in their 20s and 30s (24 to 35 year-olds).
To raise an army of young people who know The LORD and are strengthened for significant kingdom impact in ministry and the marketplace.
The inspiration for our name is taken from 1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”
Our vision is inspired by Daniel 11:32b: “but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”

• To encourage the youth and young adults to develop an intimate relationship with The LORD.
• To bring youth and young adults to a level where they can disciple others.
• To foster academic and professional growth through a Christ -centered lifestyle.

Job Summary:
Provide strategic advice/direction to the national leadership on improving current, and developing new, practices of worship and arts (literature, performing and visual) that aligns with and support the organizational vision, mission, core values and strategic goals. Develop and implement strategy for leveraging worship and arts to engage the Chosen Generation in ministration and service to The Lord and as outreach to youth and young adults.
Plan and coordinate worship and arts ministrations for national programs and events including:
- Annual Takeover Conference
- Annual National Convention
Short term goal(s):
-Build a national worship team.
Long term goal(s):
- As defined by National Council
Qualifications:
1. Must be a member of the Gospel Faith Mission International, North America.
2. Must be a member of impeccable character, filled with the Holy Spirit.
3. Must have sound financial integrity (1 Sam 12:1-3; Acts 20:33; 1 Tim. 6:6-10).
4. Must possess ministerial and administrative abilities relevant to his office.
5. Must demonstrate a high degree of loyalty to the Parent Mission.
6. Must have relevant skills and experience such as:
a. Strong understanding of music and/or performing arts.
b. Leading youth and young adults in one or more categories of worship and arts such as music, theatre, dance, etc.
c. Ability to work with people, respect them and have a positive attitude
d. Related work experience.
Preferred (Not Mandatory): Ability to play musical instrument(s).
Must be Information Technology versatile.
Education:
Desired (Not Required): Associate, bachelor’s or master's degree in music and/or performing arts.
Job Summary:
Provides financial record keeping, statements, forecasts, and reports to national leadership to help inform decision making on expenditures that support the Chosen Generation's vision, mission, core values, and strategic goals.
