THE CHOSEN GENERATION

WHO ARE WE?

The Chosen Generation (CG) Ministry is the Youth and Young Adult Ministry of the Gospel Faith Mission International, North America “GOFAMINT NA”.
Members of the CG Ministry are youth and young adults who fall within our focus group ages. 

We comprise of the following focus groups:

Youth
Middle and high school teens aged 12 to 17 years.

Young Adults
College Students: College-age students aged 18 to 23 years.
Young Professionals: Working-age young adults in their 20s and 30s (24 to 35 year-olds).

Our Vision

To raise an army of young people who know The LORD and are strengthened for significant kingdom impact in ministry and the marketplace.

Focus Groups' Vision

  1. The Youth will be continuously engaged in the systematic-cumulative-progressive study of God's word.
  2. The College Students will be excellent in their academics and remain strong in the faith.
  3. The Young Professionals will have successful careers and model excellence.

Our Inspiration

The inspiration for our name is taken from 1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”

Our vision is inspired by Daniel 11:32b: “but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”

Our Mission

• To encourage all the youth and young adult members to go through the Transformational Discipleship Process.

• To encourage the youth and young adults to develop an intimate relationship with The LORD.

• To bring youth and young adults to a level where they can disciple others.

• To foster academic and professional growth through a Christ -centered lifestyle.

Opportunity to serve

Job Summary:

Develop and implement strategy for promoting the Chosen Generation Ministry to youth and young adults across media channels, and a program for managing social media accounts and marketing campaigns, with the goal of increasing CG engagement, sales, and brand awareness in support of the Chosen Generation's vision, mission, core values, and strategic goals.

Develop and implement strategy to generate revenue and create alternative sources of funds that aligns with and support the organizational vision, mission, core values and strategic goals. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead driver of social media channels to devise, monitor, and optimize campaigns to meet CG strategic goals. 
  • Oversee and manage planning, content calendars, reporting, and optimizations across all social platforms.
  • Regularly post content on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube that aligns with the CG vision.
  • Manage SMS & MMS campaigns.
  • Create promotional videos and flyers, working with freelancers as needed. 
  • Utilize graphic design software (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc) to create marketing items.
  • Collaborate with CG teams to implement marketing campaigns in support of national events such as the Takeover Conference, Prayer Day, and Leader’s Retreat. 
  • Collaborate with the Director of Technology to build the CG e-commerce site. 
  • Develop unique strategies that expand the CG footprint, increase social media engagement, as outreach to youth and young adults.
  • Develop sales strategies to expand market scope and increase sales to meet periodic revenue targets.
  • Establish partnerships with vendors and service providers.
  • Manage budgets and allocation of funds across social and merchandise channels while closely monitoring and driving return on investment.
  • Manage online store content and merchandise.
  • Manage, coach and lead social media and sales teams as needed. 

Qualifications:

  1. Be a member of the Gospel Faith Mission International, North America. 
  2. Be a member of impeccable character, filled with the Holy Spirit. 

  3. Possess ministerial and administrative abilities relevant to the office. 

  4. Demonstrate a high degree of loyalty to the Chosen Generation and GOFAMINT Mission.

  5. Analytical skills and the ability to make sound judgements and decisions.

  6. Strong written & verbal communication skills; strong editing skills with attention to detail.

  7. Interest in design and creative expression.

  8. Familiar with social media & graphic design platforms and able to learn new systems. 

  9. Experience managing creating and/or selling products or merchandise.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience in marketing, sales, business, or communications.

Develop and implement strategy for organizing and executing technology functions to meet needs and requirements.

Direct the support of existing technology solutions and the development and adoption of new technology solutions .

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research, evaluate, encourage and facilitate the adoption of current and new technologies at the national and local levels to improve internal process, programs and events such as: communication processes, meetings, services, conferences.

Qualifications:
Must be a member of the Gospel Faith Mission International, North America.
Must be a member of impeccable character, filled with the Holy Spirit.
Must have sound financial integrity (1 Sam 12:1-3; Acts 20:33; 1 Tim. 6:6-10).
Must possess ministerial and administrative abilities relevant to his office.
Must demonstrate a high degree of loyalty to the Parent Mission.
A High-level understanding of technology being used to meet business objectives.
Related work experience.
Must be Information Technology versatile.

Education:
Bachelor’s or master's degree in an area of Information Technology, science or another relevant field. (Individuals currently enrolled in the above degrees will also be considered).

Job Summary:
Provide strategic advice/direction to the national leadership on improving current, and developing new, christian education content that aligns with and supports the organizational vision, mission, core values and strategic goals. Develop and implement strategy for managing and directing internal and external communication.

In collaboration with HOD and Communications Director, create ongoing christian education content targeted at youth and young adults.
Serve on the Leadership and Training Committee in the development of content for conferences.

Short term goal(s):
Work with HOD and Communications Director to create new 12-month curriculum for Wisdom School to cater to all CG focus groups.

Long term goal(s):
As defined by National Council.

Qualifications:
Must be a member of the Gospel Faith Mission International, North America.
Must be a member of impeccable character, filled with the Holy Spirit.
Must have sound financial integrity (1 Sam 12:1-3; Acts 20:33; 1 Tim. 6:6-10).
Must possess ministerial and administrative abilities relevant to his office.
Must demonstrate a high degree of loyalty to the Parent Mission.
Must have relevant skills and experience such as:
         a. Strong understanding of biblical principles and teachings on various subjects.
         b. Teaching and training youth and young adults.
         c. Strong research and writing skills.
         d. Related work experience.
Must be Information Technology versatile.

Education:
Desired (Not Required): Associate, bachelor’s or master's degree in biblical studies, theology or relevant field.

Job Summary:
Provides financial record keeping, statements, forecasts, and reports to national leadership to help inform decision making on expenditures that support the Chosen Generation's vision, mission, core values, and strategic goals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

-  Receive and take custody of all monies including checks and (deposit) such monies in a bank(s) authorized by the National Council as stated in the Financial Policy.
-  Keep an accurate record of all monies received by the Chosen Generation Ministry, issue receipts where necessary for the monies received and keep true and accurate books of all the income and general funds as authorized by the Council.
-  Disburse the finance i.e. pay expense invoices, ministers’ honorariums as authorized by the Council.
-  Render quarterly financial report of the National Chosen Generation Ministry to the Council.

Qualifications:

  2. Be a member of impeccable character, filled with the Holy Spirit
  3. Have sound financial integrity (1 Sam 12:1-3; Acts 20:33; 1 Tim. 6:6-10)
  4. Possess ministerial and administrative abilities relevant to the office
  5. Demonstrate a high degree of loyalty to the Chosen Generation and GOFAMINT Mission
  6. Must have knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping
  7. Have related work experience
  8. Be Information Technology versatile
Education:
Bachelor’s or master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting  or a relevant field. (Individuals currently enrolled in the above degrees will also be considered).
